My grandmother Doris Jones aka Granny Jones has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, she has taken her diagnosis with such dignity, bravery and grace.. An absolute inspiration. My mum, aunts and uncle along with other family members have taken on all aspects of her care during her last weeks/months with the tremendous support of the Macmillan team. Their professionalism, compassion and support is amazing! So I am doing this run to say thankyou to them and in honour of my beautiful granny ... I'm no runner and yes I'd much prefer to be lying on the sofa but this is something I'm determined to do and do it well.. Xx
