Story
7 years ago one of my close friends introduced me to running. She encouraged me to run more often and further even when I felt like I was a bit rubbish.
Since having my two boys I haven't found the time to run or be outside as much as I have wanted. However after recently finding out my friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has been receiving great support from Macmillian, I wanted to do my bit to thank them and raise awareness of breast cancer in postpartum women.
Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
I will be training over the next 4 months to complete the Thames Path Challenge on 10th September, a 50km (31 mile) walk/jog from Runnymede to Henley on Thames. Please help me along the way by sponsoring me.
I will get to the finish line one way or another!!
