Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2012 the Lewis family lost their daughter Anna to Mitochondrial Disease. Anna was treated at Great Ormond Street. Since Anna's death Jess and her family have raised £300,000 for research into possible treatment or cure for Mitochondrial Disease, at present there are no treatments.

They have asked 100 families to commit to raising £1,000 each. Please help me to meet this target by sponsoring me. I have taken part in 'Super Sprint' triathlons before. The Olympic distance is a significant step up for me, and will be a tough challenge. But I'm not really asking you to sponsor me because I'm doing a (silly) physical challenge, but to help the 1 in 200 children in the UK that are born with genetic changes that lead to Mitochondrial Disease. Please!
