My mum died in 2019 and benefited from palliative care through the hospice sector. She was lucky to access a hospice, as was I in terms of the holistic support they provide. I'm taking part in the 2022 Great North Run to help raise vital funds for Ashgate hospice, to make sure that when our loved ones in North Derbyshire face a life-limiting illness, they'll be able to access the specialist care and support they need.
