well, its taken me a while to getting around to updating this (about the length of time its taken me to recover!!), but we did it!

I just want to say a maasive thank you to everyone who sponsored me in the run last sunday...it definitely spurred me on!

It was a Fab event with an overwhelming amount of people both running and watching, and great to be a part of.

I managed to do the run in 61 mins 18 secs which im pleased with. Fi did a fantastic 58 mins 17 secs, but unfortunately Anne wasnt able to join us in the end due to injuring her knee whilst training the previous week.

It was a great day to be running and such a treat not to be doing it in the wind and driving rain (or blistering heat as it would have been this weekend!). It was quite hot though, so running through the showers at the 8K mark was heaven!

Mark and the girls, Dave and the boys and Anne and george came along to cheer us on and give us some much needed moral support which was great.

with your help and including the offline pledges ive raised £330 for retark, so once again thanks for supporting this very worthy charity.

As mentioned above, on Sunday the 20 May I will be taking part in the BUPA Great Manchester Run 10K alongside my sisters Fiona and Anne.

This will be Fiona’s 3 year and Anne’s 2... and this year I’m going to be joining them (I’ll do my best to keep up!!).

Since Fergus passed away in November 2008, Fiona and Dave have done some amazing fund raising for Retrak, a charity in which Fergus had been interested. This year I would like to do my bit, helping them raise money for this worthwhile charity, in Fergus' memory.
