Snowdon Summit Stair Challenge · 1 May 2020

The COVID-19 response fund will fund additional items for Critical Care teams and other wards in North Wales affected by the pandemic.

Story

Myself, Helen & Sandra are work colleagues & friends who want to do something together to raise money for our chosen charities in these difficult times. My charity is Awyr Las and the donations will go to the Respiratory Department in Ysbyty Gwynedd.

We have decided to climb Snowdon in order to raise money, however due to the current government guidelines this isn’t possible, therefore on Friday the 1st of May we will be climbing Snowdon at home on our stair cases. We have calculated the length of our stairs compared to the height of Snowdon and we will all be going up and down the stairs between 300-350 times depending on the amount of steps in our separate homes.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, Diolch!

Thank your for supporting the specific hospital wards, departments or community healthcare services that are closest to your heart through the North Wales NHS Charity, Awyr Las (Blue Sky).Your support helps fund some of the added extras - big and small - that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, making a real difference for local patients and their families when they need it the most.
