We are four midwives who work at Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust and we are taking part in the Great South Run to raise funds to buy an over the bed cot for our Acute Observation Room to enable mum to bond with her baby easily while unwell. We would also like to buy some items to improve the "homely" feel of our labour rooms. We are focusing on one room to begin with and would like to provide special lighting and some homely touches to improve families experiences whilst with us.
