We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On 28th October 2012 I will be running the Nike Run to the Beat half marathon in Greenwich to raise money and awareness for The Stroke Association.

150,000 people every year have a stroke in the UK, and almost a million are living with the effects. The Stroke Association champions research into stroke prevention and treatments, and provides support to stroke survivors and their families.

I'm aiming to raise at least £500 for this great cause, 13.1 miles is a long way and any little support you can show will not only massively motivate me round the streets of Greenwich but will also go towards helping people like my grandads who were affected by stroke.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for visiting my page, and if you donated it is enormously appreciated!
