Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

My nephew was diagnosed with partial hearing loss shortly after birth and I wanted to do something to raise money for this amazing charity that is supporting him and his parents as he grows.

The challenge - I will be jumping 15,000ft out of an aeroplane! As the jump approaches, the nerves are really kicking in!

The Elizabeth Foundation - “We thought that he would never be able to speak to us... Nor, more importantly, would he ever be able to hear us tell him we love him.” Parent of profoundly deaf little boy. The Elizabeth Foundation (TEF) helps deaf babies and pre school children learn to listen and speak. We are there to support and inform families from the moment their child is diagnosed with any degree of hearing loss. This year over 80 babies, toddlers and pre-school children will attend specialist education programmes and get individual speech and language therapy

Before my nephew was born I was unaware of this charity and the amazing work that it does. I will be so very grateful for any donations as they will help to support many more children and families affected by hearing loss.
