I'm running the Race for Life in memory of our lovely Nan, Christine Deegan, who was taken by cancer earlier this year. Innovative medicines and technologies don't just appear from thin air, there needs to be funding for projects to make developments so donating to a cause like this could end up saving your own life or the life of someone you love in the future. Plus I'm running a 10k, much more difficult than the normal 5k that people normally do, so I think that deserves twice the donation ;).
