Story
Last year our world was turned upside down, when we recievied the devestating news that our baby girl Mila had died!
I had IVF and was fortunate to fall pregnant with twins Mila & Ronnie. At 22 weeks my waters broke suddenly, which was a very frightening experience. I was having Fraternal twins which means each of the babies had their own amniotic sac, it was only Mila’s that had broken. After a short stay in hospital I was sent home on bed rest, at 26 weeks we went for a follow up scan to check on the twins progress, this is when we received the devastating news that we had lost our baby girl! Our precious Mila had passed away, our world was shattered.
I was rushed to Preston Hospital where Mila & Ronnie where born, Mila was sadly born sleeping at 1lb8oz and Ronnie weighed 1lb11oz. it’s was bitter sweet experience, in one hand I had the heartache of loosing my precious baby girl but in the other hand I had a miracle baby boy who fighted for recovery and against all odds survived and is a very happy 18 month old buddle of happiness 🩵
Thanks to Sands our family received a memory box, which helped us through the darkest of days we have Mila’s hand & foot prints to cherish 💖 as well as other memorable keepsakes to keep Milas memory alive.
I wanted to support Sands to help other families that have been affected by baby loss so they can receive the support they need to guide them through the most distressing time. This November with the support of my friend Michelle we will be doing 3,000 squats for Sands any money you donate will go directly to support families like mine that have been affected by baby loss. Any donation no matter how much will make a big difference to other peoples lives..
I really appreciate you reading my story thank you and thank you for your support
