Story

In September last year my family had to deal with the heart breaking news that my wonderful Gran Chrissie Moffat had developed a very aggressive form of liver cancer and sadly passed only a few weeks later.
Everyone says this about their own grandparents -  by my Gran was truly a remarkable character.  She was a strong women of the greatest kindness, intelligence, and humour who put a smile on the faces of everyone she met.  No words would be enough to express her presence in all of our lives and she is sadly missed.   I am so proud and lucky to have called her my Gran.
The people we would like to thank and raise money for are the wonderful nurses at Strathcarron Hospice who cared for my Gran in her final few weeks of life.  For this reason myself, family members and friends have kindly stepped in and offered to run the Alloa Half Marathon to try and raise some cash!  It's a great cause so please share this page and donate what you can (I know it's January and everyone is skint!).  It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you from the Half Marathon Team
