Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know, several close members of my family suffer with a hereditary condition which affects their sight.  I therefore wanted to do something to help raise money which will go towards helping improve the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted. 

I'll be running (well, at least attempting to run!) the 10k Great Yorkshire Run on 5th September in aid of the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind.  This charity does a lot of good work locally to help support and enable visually impaired people to live their lives to the full.  You can read more on their website here http://www.srsb.org.uk/index.html .

I would really appreciate any contribution, no matter how small, to support this very worthy cause.
