Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 25th April 2010 I will be running the London Marathon as my wedding present to my best friend Antonia. Sounds odd I know so for those of you who don't know, I will explain...

Antonia's son Finlay was diagnosed with Leukaemia in May 2008 at the age of three. He has been undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital and is well on his way to beating it. When Antonia got married to Tim a few months after Finlay was diagnosed, they asked that instead of giving wedding presents, her guests gave donations to The Royal Marsden Hospital. So, as my gift to Antonia and Tim I am running 26 miles to raise money for a fantastic cause.

All of the money I raise will go to The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign to help the hospital stay at the leading edge of cancer treatment and care. It really is a fantastic cause so please dig deep and help other children like Finlay beat Cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

Thanks for your support
