Story
Cheers for visiting my JustGiving page.
So i'm running a marathon. Which is a stupid thing to do (have you seen how far 26 miles is? Google map it. Its about the same length between Southampton and Bournemouth. Or Stoke-On-Trent and Cannock. However you look at it, its bloody far ). That is, unless your doing it for a good cause (which I am). Then it's still ridiculous but at least theres some good to come out of it
I chose The British Heart Foundation as they helped my grandad some years ago when he had to have pacemaker fitted. My grandad passed away in the summer of 2012 and I thought this would be a good way of honouring both his memory and the people that helped him.
I really appreciate every ounce of support I get and I know i'm going to need it before this whole thing is over (26 miles!!!)
Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are kept safe and JustGiving will never sell them on or send you unwanted junk Once you donated, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate; I can raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the British Heart Foundation.
Please donate any amount you can, it all goes to a great cause who will appreciate it.
Thanks for reading this, it took me ages to write it (its not easy finding two places people recognise that are 26 miles apart) and thank you again for all your support.
Kirk.
