Story

Since 2005, I have had the privilege of working both professionally and personally with individuals impacted by spinal cord injury (SCI) and their loved ones. I am passionate about the idea that SCI is not mutually exclusive to health, vitality, and socialization.

I am beyond excited to be running the 2023 London Marathon in support of Spinal Research and their mission to fund ongoing research to support the health, quality of life, and recovery for individuals with spinal cord injuries. I am honored to be given this opportunity to work towards a personal goal of mine (completing the 6 World Majors Marathons) while simultaneously contributing to a cause that will support all people impacted with SCI achieve their goals.  London will be my 7th marathon and 5th (of 6!!) World Major Marathon finishes!

More than 50,000 people in the UK and Ireland are living with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.Spinal cord injury is devastating to the person, and their family and friends. Spinal Research is the UKs leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments.Together we are changing the future of spinal cord injury.
