"One day, a staff member challenged me to climb to the top of Colorado with him. For the next four months we hiked every day, each time we went farther and higher. After lots of hard work, I was able to go to the top of Mount Elbert at 14,433 feet! This will be something I will never forget!" Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to assisting and empowering children who need our help. We work with kids who are at risk of quitting school, losing their families, living on the street or becoming incarcerated. With our help, they can find their way back to health and happiness.
