My friend and I will be braving the cold and participating in a charity walk on 21st January 2018, organised by Muslim Hands.

The violent conflict, ongoing blockade, lack of food, shelter and the loss of loved ones has taken both a physically and psychologically toll on the children of Gaza.

All money raised will go toward making a difference to the lives of the children of Gaza, suffering from psychological scars, emotional trauma and malnutrition due to the war.

- providing free medical and dental care
- Providing a range of therapies and activities to ensure engagement and fun as any child deserves
- Helping farmers and their familiars sustain themselves through the agricultural project

I think we are all guilty of taking for granted the blessing of being able to provide a safe home, warm meals, medical attention to the special tiny humans we have in our lives. Now imagine living in the part of the word where this isn’t possible.
