The Royal Eye Unit care team from Kingston Hospital will take part in different sports events throughout the year to fund an additional slit lamp for our Acute Referral Clinic (ARC).

After having recently expanded and refurbished the ARC, to
accommodate increasing demand and improve patient experience, the department requires an additional slit lamp. A slit lamp is a special instrument used to assess different structures at the front and inside the eye. An extra instrument will enable us to train more Opthalmic nurses without disrupting patient appointments.

We are a very dedicated team, passionate about our work and always
