We support bereaved children in Oxfordshire to help them face the future with hope.

Story

Keith Shackleton is taking on the Five Crosses challenge walk taking place on the Winter Solstice, 21st of December 2021.

The route links five ancient moorland crosses on the North York Moors. The walk will be 21 miles long and involves 700 metres of ascent. It is estimated to take around 10 hours to complete and, as it takes place on the shortest day of the year, will necessitate walking for several hours in the dark.

SeeSaw provides a grief support service for children, young people and their families anywhere in Oxfordshire, whether the death is sudden or expected, due to illness or accident, or for some other reason. We believe that with appropriate and timely support, bereaved young people will be able to face the future with hope and fulfil their potential despite a devastating loss. As a small charity SeeSaw relies on the support of countless individuals, families, community groups, businesses and schools to keep going.

 Thank you for your support.
