The British Red Cross, a charity incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Story

We are a team that is attempting to complete the Three Peaks Challenge to support the work of the British Red Cross. The Red Cross is a voluntary organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

They are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. Right now, the Red Cross is:-

* Saving lives in Darfur, Sudan, through providing aid to thousands of

vulnerable people,

* Supporting the rebuilding of communities in Asia following the

Tsunami in 2004,

* The Red Cross has supported more than a million people following the

2005 Earthquake that hit Pakistan and India.

The Three Peaks challenge is a fundraising event where all the proceeds will help to fund the activities of the Red Cross. We will attempt to climb up the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all in 24 hours !

It is a gruelling event with 30 teams competing to see who can complete the challenge in the fastest time.

Please sign-up, we are aiming to raise £3, 000
