Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my  just giving page 

I am hugely grateful to MACS for giving me this opportunity I feel this event will be the icing on the cake for me the last two years I have been on a massive journey in my life I have lost 6 1/2 stone with slimming world then last February I joined  my local running club south Molton strugglers on there couch to 5 k program I then went on to a 10 k then decided that in October last year I was going to do the virtual London I did this in 5 hours 1 minute with lots of encouragement and support from the lovely group of strugglers and now I have been given the huge privilege to actually go to London and run there last year I was in London watching on in envy and now next year it will be me I would really appreciate any help I can get to raise this money I need I know it’s a huge ask but really every little helps every 50 p or pound is a step closer to reach the goal I need to take part and actually achieve my dream thank you  Andy has now all do been given a place so is now going to be running with me on the day he has supported me hugely on this journey and we get to now complete it together

About the charity

We are MACS; supporting children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Every year in the UK, an estimated 114 children are born with a MACS condition. We provide practical and emotional support for the whole family, to help children reach their full potential and enjoy life.
