Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m running to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity!

My lovely uncle Peter died of a brain tumour in 2014 after a short battle. He fought bravely but unfortunately it was to far gone.

My best friends Dad Keith Horseman is currently battling the same Brain tumour at the moment. Nearly two years on Keith is still fighting on and hopefully the money we raise may help him or people like him beat this disease!

One of the dads at our sons school, Neil Appleby, was diagnosed with this hideous disease and has been fighting it for awhile. Unfortunately it was declared untreatable in November last year.

Please help us to raise money for this cancer which receives very little funding each year and is affecting an increasing number of people.

As you can see we on running on behalf of so many people close to our hearts and we are very proud to be able to do this for them.

Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated so we can hopefully find a cure!!

Many thanks for your support.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
