Jude was born with Double Inlet Left Ventricle (DILV), which is a very serious and life limiting congenital heart defect. He will be turning 2yrs old in May. During his short life he has already been through two surgeries. February 20th marks the 1yr anniversary since he underwent open heart surgery which involved being put on bypass. Jude will require another open heart surgery, in the near future as part of his palliative care. We will forever be greatful to all the surgeons, consultants, nurse's and student staff involved throughout Jude's ongoing care.
Last year Jonah and myself took part in a fundraising "Mud Run" and with everyone's generous donations, managed to raise £1,362.00!! We was amazed and so pleased, we decided to start a annual tradition of participating in a fundraiser each year to celebrate Jude's birthday.
