I am walking 24 miles in 12 hours in aid of Rotherham Hospice. Hopefully without any broken bones or sprains. It is for a great cause which is very near to my heart that provide excellent care for patients nearing the end of their life.
Every penny makes a massive difference and goes towards paying something for the charity.
The first peak, Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2277ft), provides great views of the peaks to come. As you walk towards Whernside (736m/2415ft), you'll take in the grandeur of Ribblehead Viaduct and then onto Ingleborough (723m 2372ft) for your final ascent.
