In August 2020 my friend Grant, of 18 years tragically passed away following an asthma attack, leaving behind his pregnant fiancé and 9 year old son, my Godson. 

I started running in April'22 with no expectations other than to attempt a 5k I had booked for July’22. 18 months later and I have completed 5 half marathons and even roped my friends in on a few 10ks to keep me company! 

I said I would "NEVER" run a marathon! 

A once in a lifetime opportunity that I intend to put EVERYTHING into. 

Roll on the long training runs in winter!
