Story

Hi all

As many of you know I work on the Emergency assessment unit/ Acute Medical Same Day Emergency Care Department at Colchester Hospital and have done for many years. Despite the ever changing demands we face, one thing remains the same, the dedication and commitment from every member of the team to provide high quality care and thus improving patient care, experience and safety. To be able to provide the care we do, medical equipment is obviously required, therefore I have decided to raise money to put towards this equipment. To do this I'm taking part in the Hospital Hero Hike on Sunday 1 May 2022!The Hospital Hero Hike is a 21 mile walk from Colchester Hospital to Ipswich Hospital. I have decided to take on this challenge to support my local NHS charity - Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity. The charity help patients and their families by providing additional equipment, improvements and services that go beyond the scope of the NHS.Please support me in any way you can. Every penny will help make a difference.Thank you for being my hero!
