Summer Search is a national youth development organization. For 30 years, we have been breaking down barriers and fighting for equity for young people of color through our intensive, multi-year process to lead their families and communities to thrive. We focus on bridging the educational opportunity gap faced by students from low-income backgrounds, particularly students of color. We do this by partnering with high schools and families in underserved communities to provide students with the resources to reach their highest potential. Through a unique combination of mentoring, experiential opportunities, college advising and support - Summer Search students strengthen the skills they need to thrive in school and in life.
