Story

My husband has diabetes and is struggling to lead a healthy lifestyle to improve its management. Also I had a heart attack a year ago and have been told I have a higher risk of diabetes due to my weight. So I’m going to do the million step challenge to encourage me to exercise and reduce my risk factors. We need to understand more about diabetes and managing the risk factors and research cost money, so I am raising money for Diabetes UK. Please sponsor me. Every little helps and as well as walking 1 million steps in 3 months I hope to lose another 2 stone in weight.
