City Catering Southampton is a charity with whom I have worked for the last 18 months.  They provide school and care meals, along with corporate catering, across Southampton.  

During Covid-19, they are continuing to support Southampton schools, and adapting daily.  This week, that means providing an average of 850 lunches per day, to children who are eligible for free school meals to collect, as well as for children of key workers and staff who are still attending school. They are also distributing over 1,300 food parcels for the families of children eligible for free school meals to ensure that students have access to nutritious meals at home, too.  

There has also been a significant increased demand for our care meal service.  CCS is now providing more than 175 care meals per day, up approximately 75% from just last week.
