Hi , I have decided to run the great north run in September 2019 for a charity which is close to my heart. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was 24 so have lived many years with the horrible condition. 

Living with the condition is not easy and it can be very debilitating. I feel that research etc has come a long way but there is still work to be done. By donating to such a worthy cause this charity can continue to provide practical support to people who live with the conditions and also allow further life changing research to continue.
