The Virgin Money London Marathon needs no introduction. As the most iconic marathon in the world, we want our team of Roy's Runners to hit the streets of London and raise both awareness and money so the UK's Lung Cancer Patients can expect better

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Running the London Marathon to Raise Money and awareness of Lung cancer, especially those who have been diagnosed and are non smokers. As you may or may not know my Dad was diagnosed with Lung Cancer this year so I strongly believe that more money needs raised for this Charity to ensure the research and tests can be done to try and prevent Lung cancer, Detect Lung cancer quicker and supply and test new Medication.

I have never run anywhere near 26.2miles before so this is a Huge challenge for me, and I don't particularly enjoy long distance running, so this wont be a walk in the park. Especially as all of the training is through the winter months, and if you know me, I Hate the cold weather.

All of your kind donations will keep me motivated to pull on those trainers in the rain and cold, and do some more training.

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.
