So please dig deep and donate now. I am running the London to Brighton race, it starts on Blackheath at 6am on the 11th Sept and it finishes in Brighton, there is a cut off time, and it covers footpaths and some road. We are given a map and route marked out. Running 56 miles in one go is not an easy feat, especially when you have to navigate too. My compass skills are poor to say the least. Thankyou for sponsoring me for this very good cause. The 11th sept is not far off and I will soon have to cut my milage from 50 a week down to 30 then down again to 10 leading up to the race in the final week. Eating and drinking on the day is made easier with the support of my husbamd who will meet me at the checkpoints, however I will also run with a small rucsac. Thanking you all for your suuport. I love running and would rcomend it to anyone as a way of staying fit and healthy. 13thSept 2011 Thankyou all for your support I finished in 11 hrs and 14 mins and I loved the day, it was good weather and sunny, with very strong winds (not the hurrican quite!), even though i got lost a couple of times, and the map reading was a challenege it was a wonderful event and breathtakingly beautiful. I could not have done this without my husbands support and encouragement as ever present, Bob, the rock and love of my life. I was 18 th over all and 1st lady. nice cup that i get to keep! Thanks for sponser money it all goes to rethink, mental illness is often bottom of peoples priority list, but it can happen to anyone! please encourage any other friends to help, thanks again.
