Story
My husband, David was diagnoised with a Brain Tumour in April 2008. Since then, he has had surgery to remove this tumour which was nearly 4cm x 5cm. He takes medication everyday to prevent seizures, and yesterday started his first round of chemotherapy to hopefully reduce the new growing tumour. He is only 41.
We met a lovely man at hospital yesterday who has 3 brain tumours, and the treatment is not going to be pleasant, and as the chemo is for 6 months, and we know the next few months are going to be tough at times.
We are very lucky to have wonderful family and friends around us, but this charity needs all the help and support that we can give, so that more people can be treated, and hopefully cured.
We have 3 wonderful children, Emma 20, Jessica 6 and Charlie 3, who need their daddy in their life.
So please, give what you can, and join us in 'wearing a hat' on 28th March 2013 to show your love and support.
