Patrick was a dear friend of mine, and a body piercing pioneer. He fought bravely against cancer and his spirit and downright stubbornness to just 'give up' was inspiring. I'm running Race For Life (5k) in June and while the majority of the money raised by RfL runners goes to Cancer Research UK, I wanted to set up something separately to donate to Macmillan, as they provided such important care for him, and support for his family and friends through the most difficult of times. You will never be forgotten, MP, we love you so much!! xxx
