As you know Jaxon was born at 27 weeks weighing 1lb 11oz. He was very poorly and faced many problems such as requiring ventilation/oxygen, an haemorrhage in his lungs, MRSA, had 7 blood transfusions and jaundice, he was hospitalised for 11 weeks in the neo- natal unit. but now a very healthy 7 year old. The doctors and nurses do an amazing job.
My great niece Gracie was also born prematurely at 34 weeks weighing 4lb 10oz and also had problems. She is now a healthy 5 month old.
There will be at least 1 person that you know that has had a baby prematurely or has been born very poorly. Whats a minimum of £5.00 donation when these people help and support families at one of their most worrying and stressful times in their lives. Lets do this!!!
I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because I want to make a real difference to the 95,000 babies born premature or sick every year. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
