Story
As many of you know me, you know I enjoy a little run (well most of the time 🤣)
I decided that by the time I’d turned 50 I wanted to run a marathon!! So not content with running the LLHM 3 weeks before, I decided let’s do it!!
So I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my 50th birthday than running the London virtual marathon!! I’m sure there will be running, walking and probably some crawling going on 🤣
This charity is very close to our hearts because of our lovely Ethan who has autism and the support we received when he was first diagnosed was amazing! If I can help to raise much needed funds for them that would be just brilliant!
Ethan is an amazing little boy and has come on leaps and bounds since being at a specialist school where he receives fantastic support from all the teachers and if I can make him proud of me that would be the best birthday gift 🎁 💙 I’m sure he will join me at some stage throughout my marathon as he likes a little run!!🏃🏻♀️
And if you see me running on the day, as I’m sure I will be going past many of your houses please give me a little cheer, throw me a jelly baby or 2 or a bit of birthday cake as I will be celebrating the big 50 too! 🤣 🤣
Thank you for choosing to run for the National Autistic Society at the TCS London Marathon 2023.The money you raise will transform lives, change attitudes and help us to work towards a society that works for autistic people.
