I am part of the 'team' raising funds in memory of Gareth over the next few months. Help us to make this really successful and give Cancer Research the help it needs.

Just done 20 Mile run (13/03) - boosts the confidence for the 'big day'. I have now followed that up with 15 miles on 20th and a 17 miler yesterday (27th) both in beautiful Richmond Park. Lots of runners training and giving one another encouragement. I wore my charity T-Shirt this week and was amazed by the response from the people in the Park. 

The 'Big Day' nearly here. All the training is done.  Sadly, my Dad died this week (Mon) he was hugely supportive of my running and the charity fundraising I did and am doing. I raised funds previously 'for him', for Stroke Association.  He was deeply moved by Gareth and Janes' story and I know will be with me every step of the way.

I completed the Marathon in 5 hours 11 mins and 57 seconds.  It was a very hot day for running....

Huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me and raised money for Cancer Research. The matched funding has been approved by my employers and will be paid to the charity directly.
