Story

My mum moved in to the Hospice this week. I've always supported them, and knew they did good work, but I didn't realise just how much they do to make peoples lives so different. Mum is far more comfortable and happy, and my dad is actually getting some rest.

I also didn't realise that NHS funding only covers 13% of their yearly spend, so all that fantastic care, facilities and the time they have for each and every person in their care can only come from donations.

If you can spare anything at all, I'd be grateful, but nore importantly, the Hospice will be far far more.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need.
