In 2006, I lost all my hair to chemotherapy. It was traumatic and I was powerless to change the situation I was caught up in...

...In 2016, however, things are different...and I have decided to donate my hair with Love and Gratitude to raise funds for a tiny project run by The Palestinian Trauma Centre called the 'Friday of Joy Initiative'.

This project is so beautifully simple, volunteers travel to different villages each Friday. Using face painting, drama, balloons, games and music the project gives children the chance to be children, to laugh and play.

Just like me in 2006, these little ones are traumatised and unable to change the situation they find themselves caught up in.
