Nick and Andy are on their way having the adventure of a lifetime driving from Edinburgh to Cape Town in a Land Rover. They are aware that one of the worst afflictions on the African continent is AIDS and felt it would be a good idea to support specific work helping young AIDS victims somewhere on the continent. At the Jacaranda Project, Bulembu, Swaziland, thirty abused girls at risk of HIV / AIDS are cared for, educated and trained by Anglican sisters from OHP in Whitby. There are two houses with Swazi house mothers. A third house is planned. With HIV at around 45% of the population, Jacaranda provides a "safe house." Girls move on to live independently but regard Jacaranda as "home." So please dig deep, sponsor us now and give these children a better chance in life. Thank you for your support. Nick Lonie
