Hi! Im taking on a Kiltwalk to raise funds for a charity close to my heart which has inspired me to give something back. Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
This year I have decided to FINALLY tackle the West Highland Way! I have wanted to do this since I was 15, and this year feels like the right time. I will be walking with my dog, (Marcie) Moo. This is our first multi-day hike, and long-distance hike.
I am walking for the Scottish Cot Death Trust, a small charity made up of only 6 members of staff, who are all amazing and do incredible work. Sadly, a baby dies suddenly and unexpectedly every nine days in Scotland and the majority of families will never know why their healthy baby has died.
The Scottish Cot Death Trust has a special place in my heart, as the charity helped my parents after the sudden loss of my brother, Stephen Thomas, in 1991, when he was just 5 months old.
Any donation amount, no matter how small, you can spare will mean the world to me and my chosen charity. Thank you!
