My name is Kierra Hyder, I was born in Austin Tx, but I live in Houston. I am 22 years old  I have a 7th month old son who his Ja’siah Eil Mourning, who was born on may 25, 2020. I am currently a full time student at Houston Community College, and I maintain a  4.0 G. P. A  with all A’s.  I am currently Enrolled in 5 class as of today I have completed 1 of the 5 classes. I am majoring  in psychology. I am now a member of the Psi Beta is the national honor society in psychology. I have more then 7 letters of recommendation from my professor’s,  as well as the honors society.  I am also a member of no more victims. Our mission is to end violence and end homelessness. I have a full time working from home.   

The reason I picked psychology is because I hope to help kids that are or were in C.P.S. helping people has always been a passion of mine; I hope to share my story one day, and  encourage others to work  hard and make provisions no matter. 

I hope to give my son the life I never had, and teach him no matters what happened or happens  in life, life is what you choose to make it. My past does not define me, but the choices I choose to make does.
