Story
In September 2022, my mate's dad suffered a cardiac arrest while in the gym.
He lost consciousness and fell to the ground, hitting his head hard. He stopped breathing, but fortunately, a medical student happened to be working out too and used a defibrillator to save his life.
He was then airlifted to hospital by the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and thanks to their quick and expert care, he survived.
We wanted to do something to show our gratitude to give back to this amazing, FREE, 24/7 service.
So that's why Matt, Nick, Ry and I will be cycling 100 miles IN LYCRA on Sunday 28th May 2023 to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
Every penny we raise will make a difference. They rely on donations to keep their service running, and every donation helps them to continue their vital work and save lives.
Thank you
Kieran
