Myself and a group of Stevenage fans are taking part in a 60 mile walk from the Kassam stadium to the Lamex stadium to raise money for The Cardiomyopathy Association in memory of Mitchell Cole. The walk will take approximately 18 hours and we should arrive at our destination in time for the first home game of the season.

Mithcell Cole was an ambassador for The Cardiomyopathy Association which is a charity that provides information and support to families affected by the heart muscle disease called cardiomyopathy.

Mitchell enjoyed a successful career and represented many clubs including Stevenage and Oxford before his life was tragically cut short at the age of 27 by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We hope to wear shirts from each of the 11 clubs that Mitch represented.
