Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April 2023. This is a 42km / 26 miles run and the first time I will be attempting anything like this.

I secured a ballot place for the marathon already, but it would've been a waste if I didn't also attempt to do this for a cause to raise money for a charity that needs it.

I picked Breast Cancer Now to raise money to support the research towards helping those with breast Cancer. Over a decade ago now after I had ungratefully had a go at my mum about something so stupid, she sat me down with a picture book designed to tell your children that you have cancer. I didn't understand at the time, I just cried. I thought my mum was going to die. I got lucky, and she has been in remission for over a decade now, but I know this isn't always the case. This is why I chose to run for Breast Cancer Now, and I'd greatly appreciate any support.
