Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 12th June 2021, I will partake in the “Joe Barr 200”, this is an endurance cycling event, covering a total of 200 miles. It commences in the North West, taking in parts of Derry, Donegal and through the Sperrin Mountains. This event is no doubt one of the biggest challenges I have ever undertaken, I have trained and continue to train extremely hard for this both physically & mentally.
I am taking part in this challenge to raise much vital funds for Marie Curie in memory of a good friend, John Carnduff. In December 2019, after a short battle with Cancer, John passed away. The Marie Curie team were instrumental in making his last days and weeks as comfortable as could be and helped the family through this tramatic time. John was a young, fit, energtic man, who had big ambitions and drive for his family business. I am proud to have called John a friend and I think raising funds for this Charity is a fitting tribute in his memory.
