Story
In 2010 I was diagnosed with a neurological tumour at the base of my skull.
I'd also fractured my top two vertebrae and had a spinal curvature of 56 degrees. Over the course of a year, I would have over 18 hours of surgery to correct both.
Thankfully, both of my operations were a success. Unfortunately, some people are less lucky.
Neurological conditions can cause serious physical and mental impairments. Many live in chronic pain. Many are young. None are deserving.
That's why this year I'm hiking 1000 miles to raise funds for the Brain and Spine Foundation - A charity that provides specialist support to individuals and families fighting neurological disorders.
Your kind support would be appreciated. Thanks.
