Story

John Gardiner, Steven Couper, Graeme Thomson and Kieran Downey are taking on the challenge of playing four rounds of golf in one day. We will be playing our golf at Southerness Golf Course which is a very challenging course and covering a total distance of approximately 26 miles. We will set off at 5:30am and complete the rounds at approximately 7:30pm. All funds will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK to raise awareness for a disease that kills one man every 45 minutes, the same time on average that it takes to play three holes of golf. The PlayMoreGolf member community includes those most frequently affected by the disease, which is most commonly men over the age of 50, black men over 45 and those with a family history of the illness.Prostate Cancer UK raises vital awareness of the disease, alongside funds which support research into prostate cancer, as well as supporting men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
