I am running the London Marathon 2021 for The PBC Liver Foundation due to my mum having a liver transplant in 2005. PBC stands for Primary Billiary Cholangitis which is an autoimmune disease which causes chronic liver disease and eventually failure. This charity highly depends on fundraising and donations to keep the charity up and running. The PBC Foundation sends out a magazine regularly to all of the people suffering with the disease with information of new research and findings, also helpful hints to deal with the relatively unknown condition.

My mum suffered with the disease for 12 years before having to have a liver transplant. Thankfully she has made a full recovery and has been fine ever since. If it wasn't for the dedication of the PBC Foundation and the many people behind it and there research my mum may not have been with us today so this is my way of saying thank you and giving back what I can for everything they have done for me and my family.
